Cathy, manyaman la pin. :pretzel:

Kai, let's do a Pangasinan food trip sometime. I'd love to interview the tupig and monamon makers! Hehehe!

Hey, it's Frosy the Energizer Bunny's mom! So, the first recipe is closer to the one you dug up? I should learn how to tightly roll a pate-a-choux then.

(FYI: Frosy is another soul passionate about reviving traditional recipes and manages Felicci's with her husband. The Energizer Bunny - Felicci - is their mascot, er, their daughter and my bestfriend during the LCL Trade Fair.)

Stef! Hehehehe, no Marketman pic, no Karen & Karen pic. Better to meet us both in person.

HAZEL! Hahahahaha! HOW do you eat palipit? Why do they scratch your gums? You're a comedienne dear!

karen...got time to squeeze in to your blog finally! i also tried the gorgoria at the Likha fair and, siyempre, compared it with the palipit ( in Bulacan they call it "pilipit") because i figured they look almost the same.. i dug up an old recipe of gorgoria and, guess what! the recipes are not the same.. the palipit is just a simple dough.. but the gorgoria is sort of a pate-a-choux, a fried cream puff at that..must be why the palipit is denser...::blooms:

I test tasted the Bataan offerings, too, (along with ALL the free tastes in the bazaar! haha) having gone excited when I saw the golgoria. Yes, they tasted the same as the pilipit of my childhood. No gorgoria/golgoria in there, though.
Hay, sayang talaga, kasama sana ako sa bloggers' meet! :frog::frog:
